DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT
This statement sets out the way SGPT processes your personal data.
Staffordshire Gardens and Parks Trust (SGPT) Registered Charity 1013861, Company no. 2723974 is the ‘Data Controller’ for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018.
SGPT will store your personal data (name, class of membership, subscription paid, address, telephone number and e-mail address) securely on the Trust’s membership database and use it solely for the purposes of sending out newsletters, subscription reminders, processing Gift Aid contributions, notification of visits, events and the AGM and communications relevant to the aims of the Trust.
SGPT uses the following third party providers to deliver parts of the services it provides to you: CAF Bank to process membership and other payments; Microsoft Office to store your data. SGPT will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. SGPT will retain your personal information until you request otherwise. To comply with the requirements of the Charity Commission your information may be retained for a period of time after you cease to be a member.
The Trust is committed to ensuring that your data is secure and has put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Should the Trust suffer a personal data breach we will endeavour to inform you within 48 hours of the breach being identified.
